INGUINAL HERNIA
It is a hole in the groin through which intestine or fat protrudes, depending on the size of the defect, it is repaired via laparoscopy or open surgery, covering the hole with a polypropylene mesh.
The procedure performed laparoscopically generates faster recovery, better aesthetic results and less risk of chronic pain than the conventional or open approach.
